In this episode of Hilary Topper on Air, Hilary interviews Steven Joseph, author of the new book, Snoodles, Kidoodles, Poodles and Lots and Lots of Noodles. Hear from Steven as he talks about his book and how adults and kids alike should embrace crankiness to achieve goals. In addition, learn about Steven's own journey as a marathon runner and what motivates him to continue to push himself and cross those finish lines as well as how he gets his writing ideas while running.

About Steven Joseph

Steven Joseph is a first-generation American, son of a Holocaust Survivor, speaker, and 5-time Boston Marathon and 17-time NYC Marathon runner. He is a humorist who likes to marry therapists in his spare time and has spent nearly a lifetime going back and forth between schuckling at the synagogues, and sitting in stillness staring at the blank wall in the Zendo.

Steven Joseph is a BookFest award winner and a Mom’s Choice award winner. His first book, the award-winning children’s book The Last Surviving Dinosaur: The TyrantoCrankaTsuris, was the start of his crankiness journey. His second book, The Crankatsuris Method: A Grownup Guide to Effective Crankiness, also an award-winner, helped adults around the world embrace their crankiness. Now, his third book, Snoodles, Kidoodles, Poodles and Lots and Lots of Noodles seeks to inspire kids, parents, educators, and everyone still feeling a little cranky with humor, insights, and of course plenty of those all-too-necessary noodles.

About Snoodles, Kidoodles, Poodles and Lots and Lots of Noodles

Steven Joseph is back with a new book for kids and adults to help them laugh a little while embracing crankiness.

We are all naturally cranky and the pandemic has made us even more cranky than normal. But with a sense of humor and the delightful metaphors found in his new book, Snoodles, Kidoodles, Poodles and Lots and Lots of Noodles, Steven gives us all a new perspective on embracing our crankiness.

As an attorney and negotiator, Steven knows a thing or two about shifting one’s point of view to see things anew. Snoodles, Kidoodles, Poodles and Lots and Lots of Noodles casts fresh light on how we handle everything from mask-wearing to distance learning, to the climate and environment.
