Have you ever heard of ice swimming? Does the thought of swimming or competitively swimming in water temperatures in the 50s, 40s, and even the 30s sound like fun?

In this week's episode Hilary Topper on Air, Hilary speaks with Ed Gabriels, a USAT Level 1 coach for 13 years and an avid ice swimmer.

Ed will discuss what ice swimming is, how he got his start in the extreme worldwide sport, races he's participated in, the gear you'll need to combat the cold, and safety tips and precautions to consider when ice swimming.

He’ll also chat with us about his small business, Crumble+Melt delivered, which offers homemade cookies and chocolates baked to order weekly and made with high-quality ingredients.
